We are “Ceramika Artystyczna,” the Ceramic Handicraft Cooperative in Bolesławiec. We are very successful as a result of several hundred extremely experienced and dedicated individuals. Thanks to this fact we are recognized as the industry leader of hand painted ceramics. Artistic Handicraft Cooperative "Ceramika Artystyczna" is a plant cultivating the traditions of the "Julius Paul und Sohn" factory (1893 – 1945) in Bolesławiec. The beginnings of ceramics production in Bolesławiec date back to the thirteenth century. The current name was adopted after the launch of our plant in 1950. Continuing centuries-old traditions, we mainly produce ceramic vessels hand-painted and decorated with stamps designed by our artists.

CERSince 1950, our artists have used the abundance of regionally occurring white stoneware clay to produce ecological and extraordinarily durable ceramics – artistic handicrafts. The mystery of functional design, which is located on the border of craft and art, results from passion. It makes artists make perfect things from inconspicuous clay, full of grace and simplicity, enjoying us with an interesting form or interesting decoration. Artists individually and by hand paint each art with as much pride and care as it has for centuries – so, every piece from our line offers a taste of old Central Europe. The ceramic dishes we produce are the perfect combination of history, unique style and excellent quality.

Limited edition, original line of painted ceramics, signed with the name of the designer has a certificate of authenticity of the creation of the pattern. It offers a prestigious art collection, a combination of rare beauty with the possibility of use.

We also offer the "Unikat" collection signed with the artist's name, distinguished by its captivating painting pattern with a floral motif.

We also offer collections with traditional decoration with the famous decoration "peacock's eye" produced in Bolesławiec since the mid-nineteenth century, which is one of the greatest achievements of European handicraft.

For many years, dishes with stamp decoration densely covering the entire form or creating decorative arrangements have been most in demand. We use about 5000 patterns of stamp decorations with motifs: dots, circles, squares, snails, rosettes. The business card of the plant are dishes with decoration in white dots on a cobalt or red background.

The charm and elegance of this artistic stoneware are exported to 27 countries around the world, gaining recognition and successes at exhibitions and fairs, m.in. in Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Frankfurt am Main, New York, Tokyo.

Stoneware made of white clay is fired in modern ceramic kilns at a temperature of 1250 aboutC, using lead-free glazes, which makes it ecological, abrasion resistant, therefore safe in ovens, dishwashers and microwaves.
